River Monsters with Jeremy Wade. giant Piranha, hit by lightning
1. the goliath tigerfish, is Africa's equivalent of the piranha, only much, much bigger. Its double-hinged jaw full of crocodile teeth is truly the stuff of nightmares.
2. the dangers of fishing in lightning, crew gets hit.
i dont like fishing but i watch this guy all the time, bloody amazing watching him fish for monsters.
they even survived a plane crash at one point in the amazon.

I've been watching this series on ITV. Just watched the one about the SnakeHead in America, apparently the USA is facing an ecological disaster in its river system from these fish which were introduced unnaturally and there's a huge concern that the Giant Snakehead has now found its way into the river system and will practically eat the whole place up in the same way that the Silver Carp has infested the waterways.

Thick rubber souled boots won't save you from a lightning strike. And I doubt he'd gotten hit directly or he'd have a nice burn mark on the top of his skull.
