Answers in Genesis has begun a goofy little campaign called "I AM NOT ASHAMED" - they're apparently collecting videos of people declaring their shameless adoration of Jesus. All I can say is that they should be deeply embarrassed to endorse something so absurd.

They use a little unfortunate language, though.

"WE WANTED A MESSAGE THAT WOULD OFFER A CLEAR CALL TO CHRISTIANS AROUND THE WORLD TO STAND UNASHAMEDLY AND UNCOMPROMISINGLY ON THE BIBLE."

Ah! The fruits of Christian homeschooling!

We too can be ignorant, pigheaded literalists. You too can send in photos of yourself standing unashamedly on a Bible -- you don't even have to wipe your feet.

    • I'm not an atheist, but I think it's because conservative christians believe the country belongs only to them, blame anyone who isn't them for 9/11, complain about everything, and try to legislate with the bible by telling people how to live and who they can marry, then claim to be persecuted when people tell them to back off.

      If buddhists were screaming "Buddha hates fags" or jews were trying to make the eating of pork illegal, atheists would probably be targeting them more.

    I'll tell you why Christians are targeted... because they don't strike back. People like Entinlude spouting off about the Islamic faith in Saudi Arabia or Pakistan would be decapitated. There are no counterparts to Entinlude in Muslim-majority countries.

    I am not religious but I refuse to call myself an atheist because I don't want anyone confusing me with 99.9% of the hate-filled Christian-hating progressives that call themselves such.
