LL Movie Challenge - Trainspotting: "The Worst Toilet in Scotland"
Our hero finds himself at the cusp of heroin withdrawal, and his opium suppositories have yet to melt. With the slow-release capsules still tucked away neatly in his bum, Rent visits the worst toilet in Scotland, soon to realize that he has made a terrible mistake. This scene is gross, but the rest of the movie is a brilliant masterpiece. I recommend it to everyone.

@ThisWasA_Bad_Idea Even the whimsical bits like crawling into the toilet or the baby on the ceiling represent important symbolism and convey the reality of drug addiction in a way non-addicts might understand.

Thinking this was real at first, I clicked to read more of the description, slowly realizing this was a scene from one of the best "drug-impact" films ever. No matter how many times I watch this film, it only reinforces my the thought of 'Why the hell would anybody want to do that to themselves?'. It's one of the film's numerous and continuous undertones to keep the audience from turning away out of disgust and fear.
