Yes, its a Steyr aug and more likely he brought it with him. This shit about western nations dumping weapons like that on the rebels is beyond asinine. If we arm rebels its almost always AK47's and 74's as that is the ammo they are most likely to find. The dude with the steyr aug is going to be screwed when he runs out of ammo.

@Skinnydaddy The Steyr AUG fires the 5.56x45 NATO standard cartridge, same as the M-16 platform of rifles- ammo shouldn't be too tough. I bet finding mags would be a bitch though

@bypassomega That would be true if they were in a country that used NATO standard weapons. But, Whats the likely hood of finding NATO rounds in a Russian arms equipped middle eastern country. Not very high I would think. Its not like he can go down to the local gun shop and buy more.
