Videos like this are highly misleading. Usually the bombing raids were so inaccurate that the Germans could not figure out which town was the intended target because the bomb craters were scattered so widely.

I should add however that there were exceptions, savage bombing of Dresden and Berlin being some of them.

this was how war was waged, obviously no concern over civilian casualties, no quarter given none taken,we waged war as the Nazi's did ,not with one hand tied behind our back, no PR firms, no hollywood stars visiting Germany (unless it was in a bomber) ultimatley it shortened the conflict and saved lives.
P.S. notice the tracer rounds hanging lazily in the sky, that is Ak Ak coming at the aircraft

Damn that is some amazing accuracy. Anyone know any more on the footage? These are the same targets over and over. Some look like rail lines and rail cars, others look like roads. But for a plane to be going back to the same target over and over and over seems strange. Are these routes the Germans planned to use so the US took them out in advance?

It is almost impossible to imagine what it would actually be like in combat like this. The jerk of the stick, chug of the guns, sound muffled. What a rush.
