happened in poland...
i remember 2 or 3 years ago metal thieves even stole the "arbeit macht frei" letters from ausschwitz entrance to sell as scrap metal. it is not uncommon for them to steal multiple kilometers of electric cable from railway lines, or old radiators from houses that are being renovated etc. Most of the metal thieves here operate in the region along the czech and polish border, so they can easily evade police and sell the stuff in the neighbouring country.

check the recycling centers, some tweekers are waiting to pick up their cash in a few hours. they neew to change the rules at these recycling centers by having all the regulars show ID and be put on a list..many of the druggies are doing it, they broke into my business and stole a lot of things I had stored away, mostly steel, copper and aluminum. F'kin parasites, I don't need to hope because I know cancer will get them sooner or later , if they don't overdose first.
