Man has been killing animals with spears long before the were any other weapons that could be used at a distance. Some believe going back to our ancestors 300,000 years ago. And bows somewhere around 25,000 years ago.
I may seem crude to our meat from the supermarket sensibilities, but is is an effective an efficient tool for hunting and warfare.

I agree an ancient hunter would go for the gun, well after he decided it wasn't bad magic.
I don't have a problem with people going native with their hunting though.
No matter how you get it done, the only real issue is that you use it.

fuck em this is stupid. There is no fun hunting this way, they just way for days for an animal to come to their bait. So they are not hunting but just killing for sport, for fun... At least shoot the goddam animal after you hit it...

I have no problem with hunting at all, but this is clearly a paid "safari". They bait the animals while dude stands above the food and throws a spear. Wow, quite the outdoorsman you are. And hiking through the thick jungle with fire ants and rattlesnakes? HAHAHA Riiiight.
