This occurred outside the office of the ILWU Local 21in Washington state. The ILWU is an affiliate union of the AFL-CIO. The president of the AFL-CIO, Richard Trumka, was an honored guest of Resident and Mrs. Obama last night during the president's speech before a joint session of congress.
