Big Tex fire at Texas State Fair

For the past 60 years, visitors to the Texas State Fair in Dallas have been welcomed with a friendly wave and a "Howdy folks" from an iconic 50 foot tall statue named Big Tex. But on Oct. 19, 2012, an apparent electrical fire caused Big Tex's head to catch on fire, which quickly spread to his Dickies. He was pronounced dead by the Dallas Fire Department at 10:30 AM.

Sorry it's "skinny" video, but it was the best I could find since it just happened. I also included the DFD dispatch audio, which is pretty funny.
