In real fact the RPG skidded off the tank and hit a parked car. That exploded shortly after.
A number of seconds later the tank fired off a round at or near to the camera position.
I pay homage to Texasholdem 123 who spotted this first

Actually, not brave at all. If you have ever been inside a tank, or armored tracked vehicle, with the hatches closed, and the only visibility you have is through the para scope, you would know that your visibility is severely limited, and it is a dangerous place to be, that is why you need to keep moving, unless you have lots of eyes on, and boots on the ground protecting you from ambush.
This is smart tactics by the "FSA", and stupid tactics by the military, that tank is a sitting d More..

@reaper7recon Yup tanks are masters of the open terrain and severly vylnarable in narrow city environment, in stalingrad the russian fired upon them from the fouth floor and higher because the barrel couldn't be raised that high. Close Air assist is what wins urban battles nowadays, but this reuires a level of sophistication and integral communication that you more likely to find with the americans

One of the greatest things figured out in the OIF, the sabot round is useless in urban combat, but, the HEAT round is the shit. If you have contact from a structure, like a house a small building, you send a HEAT round through a wall, it punches a small hole going in, but blows the back of the structure away, pretty much kills anyone on that floor, nasty good stuff.

@Chevillon Not sure. Rorke drift or Poitiers among other are good example that wars are won with discipline, a bit of courage, cheap weapons, will.
