Police are investigating a robbery at Deals store at 2222 N. Congress Avenue in Boynton Beach Saturday night, police spokeswoman Stephanie Slater said.

Two employees told police they were working in the store around 10 p.m. when a man carrying a handgun walked inside and demanded money. The man forced one of the employees into the store office to open a safe. An unknown amount of cash was taken.

The suspect fled the store. One of the employees said the man walked by a silver four-door Honda, but it is not known if that vehicle was involved.

No one was injured during the robbery.

The suspect is described as a black male, about 5-foot-10, thin to medium build with a thin mustache and long goatee.
