      Saudi too has hardly any crimes, it doesn't make it a nice place to live does it?

      Before you jump to conclusions, I have been to Singapore many times, the first time was 30 years ago when I broke their Laws by staying in a backpackers hostel...(roll eyes)

      The Singapore government regulated the length of male haircuts and severely punished Jaywalkers. I was happy to have a hot shower but moved on quickly to Indonesia and its beaches...

  • I'm not a fan of Newt, but I doubt he's suggesting we start executing people for possessing small amounts of illicit substances. This was poor reporting on behalf of the "Young Turks", typical sensationalist fear mongering. But what Newt IS suggesting is that we need to get even tougher on users... which is still the wrong solution.

    We need to legalize, regulate, and tax marijuana. We need to adopt a policy similar to Portugal's drug policy for the harder stuff.
