It was Sunday 9, August that the couple were on their way home in the evening after the concert and dinner in the city center. They went hand in hand along the road near where they live in Greenland.
Suddenly there was a man in 40-years lost to us, excused himself and asked if we spoke English. He then asked "what is it for something?" While he pointed at our hands, "says Anders (24) to Dagbladet.
The man of foreign origin articulated what he thought about the normal English values.
He said, "that I do not like. This is a Muslim district."
The couple continued to move slowly up the sidewalk, but even after the man came by and kicked one of them hard from behind. Anders' boyfriend took the phone out to call the police, and emergency man disappeared quickly from the place. Oslo police said the case is reviewed and under investigation.
We are looking very seriously at this. The gays Norwegian pair have explained that they were going and met a man of about 40 years. The man should have first called to them that "this is a Muslim district, we are not tolerating such here," says the guard leader Oddleif Sveinungsen by Central security of the Oslo police.
