Cerakote gun coating torture test
I had an old tube from a Mossberg that had been coated. The tube was trash so it was a perfect time to test the strength of the Cerakote.

How is banging a coated tube against wood really testing the strength of a coating? Try testing it using an abrasive surface like gravel or sandpaper. Now that's a strength test ;)

The coating is just like any other ceramic. Of course if you smash it against rocks it will scratch. So will ANY other coating for guns. The demonstration is showing that the coating bends with the metal unlike other gun coatings.
