Firefighters from Araras, in São Paulo, try to control a major fire at a chemical plant that began on the afternoon of Monday, in Araras, in the Central region of São Paulo . Three people were treated for minor injuries and two others for inhaling smoke.

The fire, cause still unknown, started around 16h Archem Chemical factory, which sits on the edge of Highway Wilson Finardi (SP-191), which binds Araras, Rio Claro. Smoke is visible from a distance of 10 km.

According to firefighters, who were several cars in the parking lot of the company were destroyed and two neighboring businesses were also affected.
