I'll take the Ford any day. The F-150 currently being made is an extremely nice, good quality vehicle. I drive all three of these trucks pretty regularly (I work in car rental) and the Ford is the nicest one by far. Electricals are cheaper to fix than a blown transmission. :)

You're right that I know nothing about the reliability of the Ford engines. I can only speak to what I've experienced driving them. The Tundra is also a very nice truck, although I find the brakes to be a little overly sensitive. Also, for whatever reason, I can never get comfortable in the driver's seat of a Tundra or the Sienna minivan. Something about the leg room, seat height, steering column ratio that doesn't fit me.
