Translation:
The accident happened near the airport in Grozny (Russia, Chechnya) 06/19/2011. According to

The rider took most of the speed out of it before impact.
I had an accident sorta similar to that when a car turned across a busy highway in front of me. I braked as well as I could, hit at low-ish speed, flew over the car and rolled, and my only injury of any significance came from getting hung up just a bit on the bike. No helmet! It was legal, there and then.
