That's definitely a medical situation. Poor kid might be an epileptic, or have some severe allergies.

She isn't trying to hurt him. He's a sick kid. Look how emaciated he is. I've never seen a drug dispenser like that but once he took it he seemed to calm down and she backed off.

anyone any background to this or at least a translation of what's being said? I dont think the mum is trying to hurt the kid altho her technique of parental guidance appears questionable. maybe the kid has behavioral problems and the mums struggling to cope.....i'd call for supernanny!

The tube she's pushing into his mouth says he's very ill and freaking out. Probably can't breathe.
I'd guess Asthma or anaphylactic reaction.
(All my kids have had Asthma, some attacks serious enough to be hospitalised. It can be quite unnerving for parents and very distressing for the kids)

Possibly a seizure? The way she keeps repeating what she is saying and trying to hold the kids arms/legs reminds me of this.

Kid might suffer from some sort of condition (seizure) whereas the mother needs to restrain him?
Looked like a pillow under his head which would be consistent with spastic head movements during a seizure.
