A National Coal Board film made in 1952 by the Data Film Unit about the exiting new life and challenges within the Mining Industry. 'Plan for Coal' was a Government Strategy Paper outlining the revitalisation of the country's coal mines and production techniques.

In the period up until the 1960's, Coal was still the bedrock of the UK's manufacturing processes..
