  • All I got to say to the rest of the rugby world is your all lucky because if our professional athletes in America played rugby we would win the world cup ever year. Not to take away from the great American amateurs that make the sacrifice to play for the Red White and Blue they are great too. Remember Soccer is a game for gentleman played by hooligans, and rugby is a sport for hooligans played by gentleman.

Best in the world my arse.....The game is far too tuff for most yanks to play, unless of course they were padded up to the hilt of course

    • Lets not start whos sport is better... Its a useless argument with no right or wrong!

While NFL players would easierly have the ability to play rugby, i would still like to see if the have the stamina to play 80 minutes non stop and i have doubts what ever those frontline guys in NFL(whatever the position is called) would have the ability to play, The rest of the positions i would like to see though, it would settle the argument.

Respect to the guy scoring the try. Out pacing Brian Habana isnt More..

    • I played American football for 10 years, then God showed me his game it was called RUGBY which I continue to play today.I even have some caps under my belt, but I agree most big NFL line men could not keep up but there are some linebackers and defensive backs that could. I know my history Rugby is American Football's father and all American football fans should respect rugby.

    • Very silly comment.
These are two very different sports and "the rest of the rugby world" is a rather large place to be dismissed so easily.
On the other hand respect to these guys for doing what they do.I wish them all the best.
Number 14 in red who outran Habana can be real proud, that was something real.

    • hey I am just playing around. I know the US is not the best but there the best we have. But Rugby and American football are similar. American football was invented from rugby which was invented from soccer. See these kids were playing soccer at a boys prep school called rugby when one day a kid decided to pick up the soccer ball and run. it was the first rugby game latter rules were formed and we have rugby as we know it today. then rugby came to America and as good Americans we said hey why all More..
