Caution: VERY Eighties! This is a video shown and/or designed to be
shown to american school children in the eighties. The topic is: dealing
with emotional abuse.
I had to split this into 5 pieces since I just couldn't imagine anyone
being able to handle watching much more than five minutes of this at a
time. Still, I didn't get it quite right so each part is a slightly
different length.
Some notes on the content: This dates from the time in american history
when the father was still considered a vital part of the family rather
than the cause of all it's problems. Nonetheless we can still see the
roots of the current standard starting herein. It also frequently
references a now extinct human ability known as 'empathy'. More
information on empathy can be found at:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Empathy
You may want to familiarize yourself with the concept of 'empathy' before trying to understand these videos.
