Employees act like electrons, too.
Whenever I observe them, they act differently; and not in a good way.

@brokenrob
Exactly, the Devil's work is in this experiment.

Boring.
Just give the child a Bible so it can get the real truth, instead of this scientific mumbo-jumbo.

The slits would have to be pretty big to throw a bible through.....

At night space looks huge then at day the sky's all blue. How do you explain this?

How can you observe a sub atomic particle? Don't you have to interfere with it.

@bobsdesk there are several ways, vacuumed chambers and circuitron's, like the large hadron collider, which can also be used to make electrons collide

My thoughts also, ala the Heisenberg principle.

Ayn Rand wrote: There are no contradictions. When faced with a contradiction, go back and check your premises. You'll find one of them is wrong.
I suspect some great scientific mind in the future will be able to dismantle our preconceptions about the duality principle of light, and will provide the masses with a third option that unifies these supposed anomalies.
I had a physics professor claim that light seemed to know which way it was being observed, and adjusted itself accordingly to eit More..

We just don't know yet.
The best answer anyone can give in the pursuit of any science.

We are hoping to get some traffic on our blog, to increase our understanding of this topic: http://quantumquery.wordpress.com
We are interested in the requirements for wave function collapse in particular. Any constructive comments are welcome.

The function of the "observer" must need some sort of sensory pulse. That pulse must be the reason the electron changes. I don't know man this is weird!

Probably one of the best explained versions of electron wave, particle ive seen. Whats stranger is when they fire an electron into a chamber and veiw it, it appears to exist where we look and if there are two observations the electron appears at both places at the same time even though only one electron was fired.

i read a book called "the holographic universe" - very interesting.
