Every country has their instances of animal cruelty. There's footage of this kind of abuse from all over the world. Responsible meat producers do their best to minimize the suffering of these animals. I sincerely believe that while their slaughter is inevitable, the lives they lead beforehand should be cruelty free and their death painless. We owe it to them. There's no excuse for the kind of mistreatment shown in this video or the multitudes of others I've seen.
