Gunfire adds to Turkey tensions
Part of channel(s): Iraq (current event)Oct. 12 - Turkey's Dogan News Agency reports soldiers attacked by Kurdish rebels from over the border in Iraq.
Reports that one soldier has been wounded in the shooting have not been confirmed but the latest confrontation comes with Turkey's Prime Minister under increasing domestic pressure to launch raids across the border after rebel attacks which have killed 15 soldiers since Sunday.
