A Wisconsin man ended up in the hospital Tuesday after his estranged wife reportedly hit him with her car because he tried to block her from voting in the gubernatorial recall election primary.

Jeffrey Radle, a Gov. Scott Walker supporter, was unhappy with Amanda Radle’s candidate choice, prompting an argument, the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported.

“She was planning on voting for a certain candidate, and it wasn’t the candidate he wanted her to vote for,” Chippewa Falls Police Chief Wendy L. Stelter said.

As Amanda Radle, 30, attempted to pull out, Jeffrey Radle stood in front of her vehicle to block her way. She reportedly nudged him with the car several times, at which point he would back off before reestablishing his ground — even climbing on to the hood at one point, according to theChippewa Herald.

Finally, Jeffrey Radle jumped in front of the car and was hit. Amanda Radle left the scene and drove to the police department to report the incident.

“These crazy liberal nuts are always pulling this crap,” Jeffrey Radle’s brother, Mike, told the Journal Sentinel, describing himself and his brother as strong supporters of Walker.

Mike Radle said his brother was in stable condition but had suffered serious injuries and was unconscious Tuesday afternoon.

Police have been called to the residence several times in the past, according to the Journal Sentinel. Online records show Amanda Radle filed for divorce Jan. 10, according to the Herald.

Stelter told the Journal Sentinel she did not know which candidate Amanda Radle had planned to vote for, or whether it was in the Democratic or Republican primary. Mike Radle told the newspaper it was “one of the women candidates” — either former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk or state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout of Alma.

  • When you combine P.O.'d estranged wife and a few warning bumps with a vehicle it's time to take a hint.

  • Isn't getting married fun? I've been going out with the girlfriend for 30+ years. No ball and chain, no issues. Plus I can barely understand what the Hell she says since she doesn't speak English (she's fluent when she needs to be).

Ahhh... the sanctity of good old marriage. It brings a tear to the eye especially when you get knocked over by a car.

  • What a goofball, no wonder she dumped his ass! I'm glad she was able to defend herself and her rights. Hopefully some good ol' bone-crunching will snap him out of that evil spell...
