"One has a hammer, one has a shot gun. The suspect with the hammer attempted to break the case which doesn't break, the second suspect with the shot gun attempts to kick the glass, it doesn't break and then attempts to shoot it with the shot gun," said Sgt. Kim Buffett.

Unable to break the glass, both men ran out empty handed and into a car, but witnesses managed to catch a glimpse of the license plate.

"It was a silver Honda Civic that was found on Lelepua Street and Leomana Place fully engulfed in flames," Buffett said.

The car turned out to be stolen and was abandoned near the Crestview Community Park, not far from the scene of the crime.

"We are just looking for the two males or any more witnesses that may have seen them drive off or leave the car in that area," Buffett said.

Suspect 1 is believed to be 5'8", 140 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, black long sleeve shirt with white pants and white sneakers and carrying the gun.

Suspect 2 is believed to be 5'6" 140 pounds. He was wearing a black mask, grey long sleeved shirt, dark pants, black athletic shoes with a white stripe and was carrying the hammer.

"Obviously if you watch the videos you know that there intent was to go in there smash and grab didn't work, so yes we are considering them armed and dangerous," Buffett said.

Police don't have a description of the suspects faces but they are hopeful someone will come forward with more details.

"So someone in the area again might have seen them prior to entering maybe getting ready maybe unloading the car with the bag and maybe not realizing what they were witnessing," Buffett said
