On the regular payday here (Thursday) the petrol price goes up about 10 cents a liter... (~50c a gallon US) The cheapest is usually on Tuesday/Wednesday. So basically if you haven't got money saved and you live week by week via your paycheck, you get screwed.
Prices are totally fixed. It's complete BS.
