Very interesting post. Voted. However, your home state (California) and my home state (Illinois) are nearly, if not, already bankrupt. (note the sneaky and steady sky rocketing state and local taxes.etc.etc...) Yet Texas, has recovered nicely through all this. Does make one think.

You totally ignore the trillions in debt your country is in.
The GDP is deceptive and not a good guide to how rich these states actually are.
America is only surviving off borrowed money.
Obama is bankrupting your country intentionally!
Wake up America!

No the FED is, and both governments are accountable for this, both republican and democrat, plus the costly wars don't exactly help the economy, do more harm than good.

Obama controls the fed!!
You dont understand that?
He is the top man!
My point of my prior comment being, the GDP is inaccurate and not a good guide to how good these states economy is.
AMerica is living on borrowed time.

@Freejay and Murkyfog
I think both of you are right. Borrowing money, idiots in power and never ending wars don't exactly help growth in the economy.

@Freejay As a Jew you should know that FED is controlled by Jewish people not by puppet Obama. So dont make a smoke screen claiming Obama controls the FED.

Good post. voted.
However,
With that kind of economic fortitude behind it one would think that fighting increasing crimerate, poverty and an explosion in drug users would be a breeze.
All the muscles in the universe are useless without the clarity to use them.

Where is Taiwan? Its GDP is huge, should be around No. 22. China does not allow Taiwan GDP to be listed as a separate country but we all know it is. I think China steals Taiwan's GDP stats and combines with its own or Taiwan's GDP ($467 Billion) falls into oblivion - does not exist.
