It obviously didn't function properly. Tasers cause involuntary muscle contractions. It's not a matter of toughness at all. He would have dropped if the thing had worked.

@randir14 there are a few videos floating around where tasers have been shrugged off as if they were never even fired. drugs, or mental state, it has happened.
