@Ray Kalm considering you can't use nuclear weapons without yourself getting turned to ash... You can't really base your military strength on nukes since they are a POLITICAL weapon. Arms industry means nothing since they are more private based companies and sell to everyone around the world. You need to see what they can field right now to determine strength.. Pakistan can't project power past their border areas. Because they have no logistics.

Anyway, I disagree. As you just mentioned in your 2nd last sentence, it's what you have during the time of war; and Pakistan will have nukes during the time of a full blown war. Nukes can destroy cities in a blow. Pakistan has a large army, + a semi-decent economy.
Arms industry matter a lot, since Pakistan build their own jets and tanks.

Israeli army could destroy Iran's ragtag army within a week.
Pakistani army can't even control its own borders.
Japan's army is untested, as is Germany's.
France's army is...well, you know.
India couldn't even defeat the Tamil Tigers.

@tomas9 They still have an economy 1/3rd the size of US's 16 Trillion economy.. they still have a large force.. they still have weapons.. they still have control over many countries economies.. if they stop exporting they can shut down many countries.. they have good missile systems.. they make their own weapons..

I disagree with this video, I know some of the places were in the right spot but in the scheme of things and in a war type situation I dont think some of the countries near the top 20 should be in that spot, the video itself was interesting to watch though
