  • Fuck this reporter. Those he's with ask him to help defend to save their lives, this dipshit runs to a bush. Fuck him. I hope he dies on his next assignment.

    • @Jackson I wanted to say that. THANKS. I thought the journalist was a swine for not attending to those wounded around him. I certainly didn't like how he boasted of his long-term support of FARC. There's other issues there which I'd only mention in private.

    • @Plox Worst part is when he says "We have nice equipment..... Funded by the US Govt"

Kind of sucks, since the other side is funded mostly by the US coke head drug purchases.

      sigh

    • @Validated based on CANPAT thn other countries adopted the canadian digital pattern, its a disruption pattern, the canadian version (i dont know about the others) block NV and infrared.

    • @nowhereman1 You mean canadian CADPAT, yes very good pattern indeed i prefer the Colombian pattern to MARPAT.

    • @qwerty4242 Colombian digital was designed and is subsidized by the Colombians, borrowing ideas from other nations. The equipment yes many of it is ours.

    • @Validated im not a fan of MARPAT, when they used the canadian digital design they used american forces patterns but they arnt as effective as canadian ones, the Columbia ones are meant for the jungle, sadly no amount of pattern is gonna help you in the situation they are in.

  • Those troops didn't look like they were very well prepared. Seems like too much laying around, talking on the radio and letting the enemy close in.

  • Having a journalist in a combat team that is fighting the FARC who is a possible supporter of FARC could be a problem.

Certainly at the end of the vid where he is questioned about FARC he indicates that he is a supporter.

Let us hope his phone and any transceiver was taken from him before taking up with that squad.

  • war on drugs is and has been a complete failure. except for those who have profited.

  • unfortunately this is the other side of the coin that exists in the remote parts of Colombia.

  • Its quite obvious that the smaller FARC group was more organized and on the offensive. The Colombian army was scared and wanted to defend, and as you can see they were not using proper cover or suppressive fire. Jungle fighting is difficult and nerve racking.
