Alan Grayson stands by his words: 'I apologize to the dead and their families...'

Alan Grayson hit back today at the Republicans who said he should apologize for his biting attack against them. He got honest about the Republican plan for health care reform: "Don't get sick. That's right, don't get sick." That has them screaming.
Well, how quickly they forget what they've been saying about Obamacare. Stuff like the phony death panels and let's kill Grandma. That kind of stuff. Here's what Grayson had to say in response to the whining.

  • Let's be real, how much is this going to cost us. What type of taxes will be involved. There is no talk about how this will be funded. We are in a record deficeit with no plan on how to get out but yet the politicians want to continue to spend money we do not have. Put up what the plan is for health care reform. Then put up the plan on how to pay for it. Part of the plan by the dipshit nancy pelosi is to have a federal sales tax on everything. The easy way to get out of this recird deficeit is s More..

  • Let's tackle problems which would make health care more affordable by putting money back in the peoples pockets. Like housing reform. Why do people have to have a 30 year loam on a over priced house, where the banks make four times what they loaned out over the life of the loan. That is Bullcrap. No one fights for a change in that. Bring the prices down, then make realistic loans where the banks make a quarter percent more not four times more. More people will have homes and will have more money More..

  • Here is another one. New cars. If the detroit auto makers made them more affordable, more people wil buy them. But they dont why. They would rather go bankrupt than give americans a good choice on the vehicle.

  • Lack of health insurance doesn't kill people. Lack of access to quality health care kills people. Democrats apparently have no way of comprehending this.

It doesn't matter how much they try to conflate two completely disparate ideas into one grand scheme -- it just isn't working. Americans just aren't as dumb as the Democrats try to treat us.

    • The study he referred to was written at Harvard and published, I doubt the people who made and published it are exactly dumb.

    • So you do not object to increased spending by local hospitals made to treat the indigent and those without insurance, which is passed along to you as a tax payer? Please reference indigent care, Parkland Hospital, Dallas Texas...John Petersmith Hospital, Fort Worth, Texas..or any "public" hospital in the US. Harris Hospital in Fort Worth, Texas spent %80 of it's indigent care budget for an entire year in two months on ONE patient that was injured in a motorcycle accident.

      The companie More..
