Secret filming has shown that, despite a ban, children in care homes in the Czech Republic are kept in cages.

In response to this BBC report, the Czech government gave us a statement saying the footage does not suggest that Czech law has been broken. It says the beds shown in our report are not cages but are there to protect children and their use is authorised by doctors.
