Easy fix.
Step 1. Take a metal coffee can and put some nuts and bolts in it then tape the top shut. Do NOT shake the can at all near the dog.
Step 2. Bait the dog again.
Step 3. Hide.
Step 4. Wait patiently for the dog to go for the bait.
Step 5. Once you are absolutely sure they are going for the bait, jump out and shake the can, while saying in a firm voice "No!".
Step 6. Clean up dog piss from floor.
Newly trained dog, for most animals it only takes one encounter.
