  • Christianity: The belief that a cosmic Jewish zombie can make you live forever if you symbolically eat his flesh and telepathically tell him that you accept him as your master, so he can remove an evil force from your soul that is present in humanity because a rib-woman was convinced by a talking snake to eat from a magical tree. Makes perfect sense.

    • Things are they way they are for the season they need to be that way. Time has shifted paradigms so many times before. I do not really concern myself with things happening now, though Egypt kinda bothers me along with the fact we are still sending our men and women over there, but anyway. I try to look at a bigger picture. But you, yourself do what you do. They usually have great video on LiveLeak.com

  • Christians rejected the gnostic tales early on.

    • Sadly yes, they ignored Truth. Any religion is poison. True Christians are out there and they have read them. Unfortunately they are outnumbered by the false one. Make sure yourself that more people know about the Gnostic Gospels. If you don't, who will?

  • Interesting "biblical" narrative although I cannot place it within any of the ancient near eastern spiritualist beliefs that am aware of other than perhaps some esoteric gnostic version that I haven't heard before.

As a student of history and of religions in particular, am always interested in hearing about new takes on the biblical narrative although I am at heart a staunch agnostic and tend to lean towards the historical view of religious traditions.

Glad to see new faces in the Yo More..

    • It is awesome to see an agnostic. Most people don't make the best decision to find out for themselves. In one of my studies I found the story of Abrham talking to Nimrod. Who ruled Babylon, he asked why Abraham didn't worship Babylonian gods. Abrham had to show Nimrod how he knew G_d. He didn't have a Bible and shit! So it inspired me to find out for myself and not let any man dictate to me. I'll post more soon! Nice to meet you!

    • if you're talking about Ceadmon, The living organism that is the universe we live, then yes. I have studied it and the Kabbalah for several years. GREAT meditation devices as well.

  • The word "Elohim", is both male and female, and it is plural. But what about Sophia? From what I hear, she predated god, and created the earth. Or is she the female part of Elohim? There was more than one god before. Then they changed the story.

    • The word elohim is what you mean. The word Elohim follows along with HaShem, Adonai, Yah, etc. As names that describe One Being. Much like saying man for mankind and using the same word to describe one man. The Illusion of the female has been around for longer than either of us can imagine. As to the question of Godhood and what not, I'm just the messanger. You have to deside that for yourself.

  • I have gotten many laughs and I thank you. I welcome all comments, even the ones that might seem negative. I'm a horrible person and am not perfect. I'm not a christian nor am I religious. I'm just finding out where my steps are. I live in blind faith. Until we meet in peace and in love.
