EU PAYS MIGRANTS TO SNATCH OUR JOBS

Saturday October 20,2012
By Martyn Brown

AN EU plot to lure migrants to Britain’s job market by offering them gifts of over £1,000 triggered outrage last night.

Thousands could be given travel expenses and their moving costs to entice them to work in the UK under the European Commission scheme.

Each hopeful would get £250 to help them get an interview and £830 to cover relocation costs if they are offered a job.

Brussels says the taxpayer-funded scheme will enable thousands of youngsters from across the EU to find work here – and British workers will be able to use it to get work in Europe too.

But critics fear it will bring an influx of youngsters from countries with high unemployment, like Spain and Greece.

The plan reignites the debate over the need to give British jobs to British workers and comes at a time when a million UK youngsters are unemployed.

The scheme is aimed at matching jobseekers aged 18 to 30 with suitable vacancies.

It is being piloted in Spain – where youth unemployment is over 50 per cent – Germany, Denmark and Italy but Brussels plans to extend it EU-wide.

The Commission said the programme is part of its Youth on the Move and Youth Opportunities initiatives.

A spokesman said: “The job’s target for 2012-13 is to help some 5,000 people to fill job vacancies throughout the EU. Activities are starting in 2012.”

Figures show migrants have already forced tens of thousands of Britons out of work, thanks to Labour’s open door immigration policy.

Prime Minister David Cameron wants the EU to rewrite rules that allow Europeans to take jobs here

  • It's a broken dysfunctional system people... Damn... Europeans have turned a blind eye to reality on this for a long time.

"The plan reignites the debate over the need to give British jobs to British workers and comes at a time when a million UK youngsters are unemployed."

They're unemployed, because the government subsidizes it. The reason British jobs are going to immigrants, is because those entitlements/subsidies (like paying Brits to not work), are expensive and require a lot More..

Socialism is great until you're in a position to have to pay for it.

I pay 43% tax on the top end of my income so that people can sit and do fuck all.

I literally risked my life for my money. People who want a chunk they didn't earn can fuck off and choke on shit.

  • You will almost always see Americans slagging off the EU because they know only too well that a political union of 600 million people will always beat them, economically. Once you start seeing oil traded in Euro's (and there are moves by some countries to do this) then watch as the Americans go apoplectic. In a hundred years they'll be a spent force, and it will start in the next few years.

There is an other much worrying problem for the US, and that is the trust of the world in the Dollar as the nr. 1 trade cureency for international trade.

    • @Nazel_Hut I'm Sorry, we only want the dregs of Europe to come here.

If you know any Romanian gypsies or other Eastern European crime gangs, our government would be most appreciative if you send them our way.

Its to help push labour costs down for the greedy corporations that buddy with the government so they can expand their profits. Seen it all to long where I live, low wages, high unemployment yet lots of big companys employing more Eastern Europeans on low wages which our workers have for years recieved a fair wage.

  • I'm not anti EU in anyway, but these EU Bureaucrats really haven't got a fucking clue what effects their decisions have. They're protected in their cushy £80K a year jobs and will not be affected by the decisions they make which are almost always to the detriment of Britain's economy.

Get the fuck out of the EU before it's too late I say.

    • @drivenwell2 I sit on the fence mostly, listening to both arguments.
Being in the EU does have its benefits.
But lately, I cannot ignore how those benefits are being eroded away by an ever growing list of cons.

  • it´s not about jobs, it´s about mixing people and cultures, as i live in a former soviet union "republic" i know...
Back then it was called internatsionalism and russification aka. they brought hundreds of thousands russians into a country with 1.2 million natives. (and to make room they just sent our people to Siberia)
Its the same, just with diffrent measures.

    wake up!

    • @taipohh I agree. It's about modern day bolsheviks dragging Western culture down to their level. They are decendants of the same people who created the first Supreme Soviet and a form of government that was worse than the nazis in terms of human misery.

You do know that Germany needs the coming decades 100.000's of extra low educated immigrants for production work?

      Can you understand why?

  • this is exactly what the european bureaucrats wanted all along. it cheapens the whole middle class sector of employment which makes the big shots richer.
unfortunetly it is a trend that is not gonna go away. the more money you have the more influence you have on political agendas, and will therefore have a steady stream of a piss poor paid workforce. big business will always win in the people/capitalist decisions. im actually surprised they are not flying thousands of chinese workers in to chea More..

Cameron's primary election promise was a referendum on membership of the EU state too. Look what happened there, he backtracked and refused to give the voters the referendum after gaining power! And that was the one thing he was voted in for.

Which begs the question, just WHO do we vote for next? Labour got us into this hell-hole multicultural mess with their open border policy that allowed over 10m immigrants into the country within 10 years, the Tories can't be trusted (read ab More..
