Wrong. Yes there is friction. The friction is between the air and the moving object. What he should have said is that the overall friction is greatly reduced. If the object would stay cooled long enough it would eventually stop moving due to the friction of the air. Try the same experiment in a vacuum and there truly would be no friction.

there is friction in vaccum. It is caused by photons. Things do slow down.

As far as I know a photon is said to have no mass. And in a dark vacuum there are no photons, so switch off the light.
