Yesterday, July 22nd, was the 70th "anniversary" of the deportation of the jews from the warsaw ghetto to the concentration camps by the national socialists. This guy is an idiot! We have the same types in Canada too. Our own Premiere in Ontario (a liberal) wants to look at banning handguns because of a shooting in Scarborough recently. It's funny because I'm pretty sure murder was banned many years ago. But yeah, we'll just take guns from people who obey the law because it will appease the liberals and beatniks. Gun laws wouldn't have changed this, he never had a prior record. Plus gun laws only effect law abiding citizens. Criminals are criminals because they don't follow the laws. If only one other person in that theater had a gun a lot of lives could have been saved. If anything we need more guns, an armed society is a polite society. It would have been found on a victim or the living owner would have notified the police while giving the statement. Need more proof? Gun control isn't the solution to random shootings. If there where trained citizens who were legally carrying in that theater I would bet there wouldn't have been as many victims. Ok! so a more scrutinized approach to assault rifles... sure no problem.... but lets not lose out heads and say we need a UN ban on gun ownership.

@Foster777 I could not agree more. One person firing back would have saved alot of lives, atleast it would have drawn the attention away from the unarmed. I would imagine it would have changed from shoot as many people as you can to hide from the person shooting back. Time is all those unlucky people needed to escape a crowded theater.
