@MrSlave some of the greatest presidents had military background. its good if you wanna be able to understand all options on the table. keep in mind most leaders have college education. military experience is another tool in the box. i used to be in the marine corps best life experience ever. put me ahead of the game if you use your experience wisely

@MrSlave The reason that politicians should have military experience is so they would not put our military in harms way quite so cavalierly.
These days most U.S. military people see our presence in the middle east as trading favors with Israel instead of serving our own national interests.
