It is hard to appreciate how strenuous this really is. For the mildly skilled grappler, having someone on top of you like that isn't as dire as it looks. The guy gets in a lot of face strikes, but most of the damage appears to be from before filming started.

It makes a change to watch a video of a street fight, and see someone use an actual technical style of fighting. Rather than swinging wild punches and flailing about, praying for a lucky shot.
Although some of those lucky shot videos are great to watch!
