  • For those who are interested, Maria is alive and well, and continues to tour and perform at smaller venues and clubs which cater to jazz and blues fans. I saw her two years ago here in the Boston area, and she put on a wonderful show. Definitely more jazz, not pop. But she did do 'Midnight At the Oasis', only with a slower, jazzier feel to it.

  • Thanks for the upload. I was 15 years old when this came out. I think Don Kirshner's Rock Concert took a nose dive when he decided to cast his daughter as the host.

    bigkullit is a needledick that only sees lip synced vids. He has no idea what live music really sounds like.

  • She's not a good singer at ALL, I thought this was a comedy video at first! Her uncontrolled "yodelling" falsetto (example 3:25) is a sure sign of an awful singer. looks like she's out of her head too.
