Elephant with no trunk..not graphic but sad story

Hunting for food has been a part of life throughout history..I am all for that HOWEVER I AM COMPLETELY AGAINST hunting for recreation AND ESPECIALLY POACHING which brings me to the video..this poor young elephant's trunk was severed due to a poacher's wire snare

There is a foundation being organized against poaching in Zimbabwe which will hopefully benefit wildlife there and around the world

    • @watercarrier Tusks have always been the main source of poaching but not the only one..hides are valuable, especially younger ones..

    • @Wyseguy67 people do eat elephants, I watched an entire village strip an elephant down to its bones within 2 hours. They were like fireants and incredibly grateful

      In no case does hunting,biking,swimming or marathoning prove one is or isn't a man. Accepting another's choice of how they spend their outdoor time does regardless of wether you like it or not. I can say I dispise poachers and would gladly shoot them before I would any animal. However,hunting is in many cases a needed population control outlet for many species. Take my hunting of whitetails for instance. In my state alone the average yearly deer harvest is just over 200,000 per year More..

  • Poachers all need to die. Proper hunting conservationists are a needed tool and the most effective way to keep populations healthy and stable. I can tell you for a fact that any animal that is taken there properly is stripped to the bone by the locals within hours. Hunter gets his trophy and a meal for a night and some bush town is fed for weeks
