@nuckelhedd Marine Corps is a department of the navy, the first marines rode aboard ships and sniped from the masts, we use the terminology for heritage reasons. God i miss bootcamp, i kind of enjoyed the screaming. I remember back when we did our moto run for visitor thursday. We were out behind one of the H buildings in San D and our J hat and his good friend from another platoon decided to have some fun with some new recruits who had just gotten in the week before, so they stood outside the hatch, 1 on either side and as soon as the newbies, in their unbloused tennis shoes and buttoned up blouses the DI's started their shrieks and screams, and leaned More..
