I'm officialy "out of it" now since I couldn't identify the rifles being used at 0:29, 0:31, 1:02 and 2:03. The front sight had the "M-16 look" but they sure didn't have the characteristic do-not-carry carrying handle. Anybody?

Those were M4 Carbines, all of them.
The carry handles are removable now and are almost never used. Soldiers and Marines tend to put on illuminated reticule holographic sights like the Eotech or Aimpoint or medium-magnification scopes like the ACOG.

I was just gonna say on vids Ive seen as of late looks like all our boys are running some sort of optic pkg on their m4, m16, SAW etc

Instead of worrying about what camouflage our soldiers need to have; we should be worrying about replacing the M4/M16. What they truly need is the HK416.

i'm no expert, but it sounded like an RPG wizzing past, but it didn't make impact anywhere nearby- probably went over their heads

Sure sounded like a rocket to me. And wasn't that an RPG impact at :28? Stay safe guys and way to call in air support. Too bad there wasn't an arti barrage to back you up too though. Seriously lay the hurt down on them and send those lice infested goat f'ers to hell.

trigicon 4 x with a burris panosight/fast fire.
Got to love the rail systems you can add insane amounts of rail mounted things. Only problem is when the batteries run out make sure you got a spare or iron sights as a backup!
