Obama adviser David Axelrod makes case for Mitt Romney for President

David Axelrod, Chief Strategist for President Barack Obama, endorsed
Mitt Romney for President on Fox News Sunday this morning. He told
Chris Wallace, “The choice in this election is between an economy that
produces a growing middle class and that gives people a chance to get
ahead and their kids a chance to get ahead and an economy that continues
down the road we’re on.”
That is precisely right and precisely what Mitt Romney’s campaign has been telling people. Good to see David Axelrod agrees.

  • They have this illness that, in The Administration's mind, this is still the Bush economy. Sad really.

They cannot accept their own failure, their own failed policies. I wonder how long Mitt will call this the failure of the 'previous administration'?

    • @cantstandya "Our party" sounds to me like you have no party. Fuck the Dems and the Cons, let them eat each other, let them all get what they want and see how they like it.

    • @cantstandya I served in the military and to be perfectly honest, many many more conservative type people served in the infantry units than anyone else. For you to call conservatives chicken hawks is very much incorrect...now on to other stuff. I'm going to agree ,if it shocks you, that being fiscally conservative is a necessity at this point but I do think that investment in our country and its infrastructure is greatly needed and this pays dividends back to our own economy. I don't understand More..

    • @dav1936531 Ron Paul is not that great. I give him all the respect in the world for consistency and his fiscal conservatism but his foreign policy is a mess....sure pulling out of every country sounds peachy but its not. Unfortunately his policy of isolationism is something that I desire but the world is so globalized its impossible to succeed at this. Simply closing your eyes to the world will not make the problem go away, it will in fact exacerbate it. Following different foreign policies is a More..

  • Axelrod. I wouldn't holler soooeeee if the hogs were eatin' him.

It was a dark day for American when we started letting those people in.

  • The only reason we're going with Romney is because when Obambo pulls the Chicago-style "voting-of-the-dead", there's not enough dead Chi-towners (plus blacks and liberal white-guiltists) to overcome the rest of the entire United States' votes for a guy who actually has some of the skill/ability/experience for the job.

    Run-on sentence. Forgive me.

  • Romney or Obama, is it really going to matter. I guess we will have Romney care instead of obama care.

  • Thanks to Arizona Patriot for the full link, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BhkcpiwembE. At the end it is clear he is referring to Bush era policy. Video title and editing is kinda misleading.

    • @neutral_person yes any reasonable person can come to that conclusion. but the irony is that obama has been potus for the last 3 years. so in political bs, it is obamas road now.

    • @anarchy2011 Well I was commenting on the misleading title, not as much Obama's unflattering term.

  • The Obama team still not admitting that the "road we're on" is Obama's road...

I'm not sure what road we'd be on otherwise after the Democrats controlled the White House for the past three years, but unless Axelrod is actually endorsing Romney, he apparently thinks we're still not on Obama's road.

Obama could manage to last for eight years blaming the president before him the entire time.

  • Hmmmmm common sense would tell me this is from 2008:
    1. Bottom left Fox News icon is not spinning
    2. No date and time like it usually has
    3. Editing.

    Can anyone confirm this?
