  • Excellent post Cleaner. We are now in the final era. The final era is the time when the only thing that matters is profit. Social well-being and the well-being of mankind is no longer considered essential. There are no longer feelings of social/national ties. The corporations are multi-national now with no allegiances what-so-ever. It's a pity.

    • very good points dh, it is a shame that so much heavy engineering has been erased from the British mainland and as you say, with little or no thought about the long term consequences other than that of profit.
