The large majority of the population are opposed to the Benghazi-based Transitional Council (made up of Western banking friends, al-Qaeda members funded by Western intelligence and Libyan “rebels.”)The rallies also indicate significant popular support for Colonel Qaddafi in contrast to the usual stereotypical descriptions in the Western media.The mainstream media has either casually dismissed the significance of these public gatherings directed against NATO intervention or has failed to even report them.
