    • @boomersooner Yes, the same plan that has failed once before. Let's hope it'll work this time and if it doesn't we'll try a third time. I can't believe they have nothing else to offer but it was perhaps with this crisis in mind that Greece was admitted into the EU. Someone will profit from it. And now Lagarde is head of the IMF. God help us!

  • The EU is in a pickle. If Greece were independent like Iceland is, it could default like Iceland, thumb its nose at the IMF. It looks like the EU is a huge slave camp viewed under the light of how to deal with a gov. default. And those who take it on the chin are the small people, and those who are saved from pain are the bankers.
    PS: I love the Soviet choir in the end though it's frightening to associate communism with the EU.

  • A United States of Europe where people and trade could travel unhindered including a common currency. That I dont have a problem with. An Empire of the Bureaucrats? that I DO have a problem with.

      I hate to agree with you on that comment.
      BUT! You are right.

      There have already been calls from Cameron's chief advisor's to pull out of Europe.

      What most people don't realise that this could be a relatively simple process.
      All that any country in the EU has to do is give written notification of their intent to leave, and the the clock is running.
      The EU would have 12 months to formulate any trading agreements and whether or not these negotiation were complete.
      Twelve months to the More..

  • The problem with the EU is it just doesn't get its message accross in a effective way. If people knew the real truth they would soon change their minds about it. Farrage knows it too, but he's a political opportunist & self publicist, and ego driven.
