I can’t help but wonder if this was a camera test carried out on the back of a flatbed truck. Back in the forties in order to shoot onto colour you couldn’t actually film onto a single colour reel. The camera had four reels rolling, each one shot through a different colour filter. Red, yellow, blue, and a forth in high contrast black and white for dark shadows.
