You weren't looking hard enough. ABC producer Asa Eslocker was arrested at the Democratic Convention on Aug. 27, 2008 while filming for a story on the role of corporate lobbyists and wealthy donors on politics. He refused to stop blocking the sidewalk in front of the hotel, and was arrested. This story, also from ABC, is just the other half of that investigation.

Oh my god we cant have our god damn convention because of a hurricane, which turned out to be a tropical storm and did minimal damage to the gulf coast? I ******* hat this god damn Liberal propaganda. I saw news coverage of these types of parties for all the big wigs and people who donated and the DNC. Oh, and the RNC was pretty much suspended because of the storm already. One party and the Republicans are inconsiderate assholes? This is just BS! NAme one other event in the US that was cancelled because of this Hurricane Gustav? Besides any events in the path of the hurricane. How many LLers who point their fingers at the evil, partying, republicans, have cancelled any of what they were doing because of the Hurricane?
The Dems had their Coronation of the King of All Men, but the Republicans, who cut back on planned events, can't celebrate like the Dems?
All the partisan BS makes me sick. There is a middle ground everyone! Dems aren't evil! Repubs aren't evil! Differing points of view and the actions needed to be taken is what we have.
People have got to stop hating those who disagree. Find the ******* common ground and build from there.
